We made it back home Tuesday evening all safe and sound but this is the first that I have had much time to get on my computer.
You know, it's now time to play catch up after being gone for the day and all that has kept me pretty busy.
We had an awesome day at Sugarcreek even if it did rain part of the time. For the most part the rain held off till the afternoon but that is when we made it to Berlin which is loaded with little shops up and down both sides of the street so that means you just park your car and start walking.
*A few raindrops didn't stop us. We just pulled our hoods up and kept on shopping.*
We headed home around 4p.m. making any last minute stops before the stores closed for the day and then went to get something to eat before hitting the highways.
That is when I felt a headache coming on and boy oh boy did it hit hard.
Half ways home I had to pull off the road and have Misty finish the drive. Once home I went to bed with the mother of all MIGRAINES and it has literally kicked my butt.
That is the worst headache I have ever had and I HOPE that I never have one like that again. Pretty crappy way to end a wonderful day!
I hardly got any photos because...well it's hard to take photos when your camera is in the trunk.
I took both of my cameras. My good one and a little one that fits in my purse. I had hoped to get some pictures of some of the shops but I was too busy shopping to even think of photos.
So the buggy at the top of the post is the only one that I have for you. If you'd like to see a few others from previous trips then you can go HERE.
As for my goodies...
I got food and more food. There are cookies, candy, sesame sticks, nacho dip mix and my favorite Watkins Spice - Meatloaf Seasoning Blend.
Oh and Carmen, the restaurant that I was telling you about was called DER DUTCHMAN. It's in Walnut Creek and it is my favorite.
Look at all these cookie cutters I bought to use with salt dough. I stopped at COUNTRY CRAFT CUPBOARD and found this package of star buttons that I have been looking everywhere for. I need those for my John Deere cross-stitch that I am working on. I also got those lil' nippers while there too!
The soap and the brush were picked up somewhere along the way and let me tell you that soap smells soo good.
These are my biggest and best purchase of the trip.
They are curtain panels for two separate windows. They were marked $30 a pair but were on sale so I got both of them for $40 all together. I love the little pineapples on them.
Well that's it for my trip. I've got lots of catching up to do on all of your blogs so I'm off to start reading.

Looks like a fun trip!
OOOhhh!!!! I LOVE the curtains, just beautiful!!! You got some great cookie cutters there too and I'm so sorry you had to end the day with a migraine, they sure are the pits:( I'm already wanting to go back, LOL, were the stores busy during the week?
I am terrible about leaving my camera at home, almost every time we go some where.
I love those kind of cookie cutters. I won't even use those plastic ones that are solid. My cookies always stuck to them, no matter what I did.
It sounds like you had a great day, minus the headache!
Looks like you had a wonderful day Jessica, except for the headache. I love all your treasures! I would love to have some place like that to go shopping. We have nothing like that here in Florida. Have a great evening!
I know you had a great time, thanks for sharing some of it with us, love those goodies you brought home, hugs my friend
sorry to hear about the migraine, but looks like you scored some fabulous stuff anyways :) have a lovely weekend!
Hi Jessica, Drats about the migraine, I used to get those alot but thankfully don't suffer them much anymore. Hope it doesn't come back in a hurry. Love the photo of the Amish buggy and I had a look at the other Amish photo's, they are great. Kind regards, Anita.
Sounds like a fun place to visit! I would love to have someplace like that around here. Sorry about the migrane!
