Saturday we took the kids up the hill to play at Grand Vue Park.
The leaves are beginning to change and boy are they pretty.
This next picture is taken from Shelter #1, high atop the hill, looking down on the town of Moundsville.
The kids played on the playground for a bit where the older ones enjoy this web to climb.
For Katie, there wasn't a whole lot she could do with one arm still in a cast so we decided to play a round of miniature golf.
We didn't even keep score, we just played for FUN!
Then, my husband grabbed the camera to get a picture of ME. He says that I'm always posting pics of them and that I needed one of myself to put on here. So here I am!
Golfer--- I am NOT!
We finally finished the last hole with them all looking to see if he made it or not.
After that we headed home to grill out and then we spent the evening by the fire.

That looks like a wonderful park and the fall foliage is beautiful! Ours is changing daily now and we've had highs in the upper 40's the last 2 days!!!
It's beautiful there! Sounds like you had a fun day - and nice hubby taking your picture. Same here, I always take photos, and rarely am in them. Which most of the time is okey. Have a nice day!
That's right! You are always behind that camera! Good for your husband, to finally snap a pic of you for us to share!
The view from up high was gorgeous. I hope the leaves get to finish turning up there for you before the really cold weather sets in and knocks them off, as it did in some parts of the country.
That looks like a fun park! Lovely photos of the fall colors. We had early snow and freezes so we didn't get much in the way of colors this season.
Beautiful fall colors! I love mini golf, but I haven't played in years.
Thank you for posting the wonderful fall colors..we get a few like that but not in such abundance.....we are in an inland valley so do have some seasonal changes which we really enjoy....nice park too...is the miniature golf in the park area? that is really cool
Love family outings, not many take the time. Looks like a lovely park and the colors are wonderful!
Those trees are awesome.
My family enjoys playing miniature golf sometimes too, I'm always amazed when I win because I have no skills at all.
As a new follower, I really enjoyed your sharing your outing, thanks!
Dani...yes, the golf is right beside the playground and to Colorado Crafter, our leaves are just beginning to turn but the weather is supposed to get much cooler this weekend with possible flurries so we will see what happens.
Beautiful colors..they are getting prettier here everyday..always nice to be with the family..looks like a really nice place to play together...
