Not the COLD that I'm wishing for

This is what my kitchen counter has looked like for the past month. A sea of over the counter cold medications, fever reducers, tissues and a few humidifiers that run from morning till night.
I am so sick of the constant hacking cough and snot filled noses that I could just scream. Mine began on New Years Eve as a cold and has turned into a dandy sinus infection. I finally broke down last Monday and called the Dr. to get a prescription to help.
It's working! The pain and sinus pressure that has filled my head for the past month is finally gone. Now if I could only get rid of the nagging cough.
The kids are now passing around a head cold to each other and as of this morning the start of a stomach bug I think.
At this rate I am  more than ready for summer to get here.
But I would really like to have just one (at least) *good* snowstorm of the season.
Something like this would be nice.
However with temps. running in the high 40's to low 50's I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon.
Yesterday we had rain and snow flurries ~ today nothing but sunshine.
It was so nice I figured we'd better go out and take advantage of it so we took a walk around town.
We walked along the main street and window shopped. I tried to take a few pictures but the glare from the sun on the store front windows didn't do so well.

Now we're back and going to spend the rest of a lazy Sunday sewing and watching a little tv.
No doubt the Super Bowl if hubby has the remote.

Have a great Super Bowl Sunday!

Oh you poor Dear! Sorry you have been sick...but with the meds now, hopefully you will continue to feel better. Sounds like the boys are passing it to each other. Although no snow, the neighborhood is beautiful with all that sun. It has been some crazy weather here too, it was 80 here yesterday and in the 40's now. Feel Better My Friend! Luv

How miserable for all of you. Nothing ruins a day like not feeling well. I hope the sunshine helped a little. We did some running around too, thinking it would be a rainy day. The clearing-off surprised us!

I hope you feel better soon. I don't like head colds and I have been under the weather, NOT FUN!
It has been a weird winter to say the least.
Have a good Monday!

Awe Jessica ~ so sorry to hear your not feeling well. There is nothing worse than a sinus cold ~ I would rather have the flu and get it over with.
Hope you found time to work on your stitch'n.
Feel better soon Sweetie!
No snow here in WI either. :(
Prim Blessings
