Giddy with Excitement!!

I'm simply giddy with EXCITEMENT!!
Wanna know why?
Just follow me up those stairs and I'll show you why.
Those stairs lead to a third floor finished attic that is or was a large bedroom that my two boys shared.
Well in the past two years neither boy has slept in that room no matter how many times I ask them to. They can come up with many excuses as to why they don't want up there but I know the true answer.....the XBox's are on the first floor...not on the 3rd.
Plus it's a tad warm up there in the summertime even with the central air on.
Still wondering why I'm giddy though??

Well here is why!
I've been looking for an old quilting frame. I talked to my Dad about making me one but he suggested that I talk to my Aunt (his sister) first. So I called her to see if she had one that I could take a few pictures of so Dad would have an idea of how to make one. To my surprise she had 2 frames and told me that I could just have one of them....BIG SMILE!!

I needed a fairly big area to set this frame up so I decided since my boys never use their bedroom I would turn half of it into my sewing room. The other half will still hold their dressers and one of the beds.
I spent the whole day yesterday taking down one bed, moving furniture around and cleaning.
My MIL's sewing machine. I'm thinking of painting the cabinet pink.

File cabinets to hold all my crafting and sewing books. Just need a pretty doily to lay across the top.

The room looks pretty blah right now but I intend to add a little color to brighten it up. I've got a good many more craft supplies to haul up there and I'm sure I'll probably move things around again until I get everything where I want it. When I finish it all I'll post a few more pics.
