Could someone help ME?

I can not figure out how to make the links underlined in my posts so that people can see that they can click on them.

In my last post The Chickenista, Brad Paisley and the three blogs that I passed my award on to are all able to be clicked on but you can't see that unless you scroll over it.

Help me please.
I know it's some little thing that I am missing but I get so frustrated trying to figure it out.
If anyone out there can help I'd really appreciate it.
Thank Ya!

Hey there:) When you are typing your post and you get to the place you want your blog title for the link, go to the top of your post box and click on the little rolly thing for link. a line will come up with http:// then you just put your blog title and click ok. I'm pretty sure when it goes back to your post its underlined for you? If not, check with old dame penniwig, she knows all that stuff:)Have a great day!

I don't have an answer for you, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the three column formatting and color...?

Went to school with Brad Paisley huh? Isn't that a strange feeling for you? I never new anybody who new anybody famous ;~)

BTW...I'm freezing some enchiladas! They'll be a great dinner in the future!

yup--like Carmen C. said...when composing you go to the top and you will see the small b for bold, then then the little i for italics and the next symbol is insert link--just click that and type in your address..,there you have it! ;) simple! Thanks for stopping by today!

Thanks guys,
I have used the little linky thing at the top before but I think the problem is in the color. I need to change the colors for the links and that will make them stand out. I'll have to mess with it shortly.
I really appreciate everyone's comments so Thank You.

Hang in there, I am right there with you in trying to learn about how to do things in blogland. :) The learning curve is still going for me. I think you have accomplished what you wanted, because I can see the different colors. :)

Hugs and blessings,
Stacey

I can answer all of these questions for you, but looks like you have figured out how to make text link to a web address.

You said the problem is with color of the linked text. What you need to do to make sure your links stand out is change the link color in your blog settings. Do the following:

1. Make sure you are signed in and go to your blogs's main page.

2. At the top right of the screen, click on CUSTOMIZE.

3. On the next screen, click the LAYOUT tab. Then click on FONTS AND COLORS located just under that tab.

4. In the far left selection box you will see LINK COLOR (if you don't, scroll down to find it). Click on LINK COLOR. After you click on link color, go to the color boxes just to the right and select the color you want the links to be (usually something that stands out from your body text).

5. Once you click on the color you want, click on SAVE CHANGES. Voila! Go to your blog page and now all text that is a link should be that new color.

This is universal, and applies this color assignment to links in all your posts, not just the current one.

By the way, speaking of Brad Paisley, I had NO CLUE who he was until just a couple years ago when I drove through Glen Dale with Amy. I finally asked her "who the hell is Brad Paisley and why is his name plastered on the 'welcome to Glen Dale' sign?" She explained to me and now I know. I guess Chuck was a friend of his in school. I still don't know who he is nor have ever seen or heard him, but at least now I know what he does.
