The snow has been flying pretty much all weekend but not too much on the ground.
Just enugh to have to get out there and clean the sidewalks.
Hubby with the snowblower
Saturday was spent getting ready for the birthday party but I did manage to sneak a bit of time to go and stitch a bit...or so that was my intention.Instead of stitching I snuggled up in my bed with my new laptop to search for a new blog background.
Very time consuming!
So I didn't get a bit of stitching done but I do hope to get some done tonight.
While I was laying there in bed I happened to look out the window to see a group men in camouflage marching up the street.
What in the world!
In all there were about 5 groups the size of this one and they were all marching up the street. The last group was being followed by that truck that you see in the picture.
A few hours later and after another round of snow I was out sweeping the sidewalks and noticed these guys marching back down our street.
They spoke to me as they were passing and so I asked them where they had gone to.
Turns out they had gone up to Grandview Park which is up at the top of this hill.
That wears me out just thinking about climbing up that hill. Glad it was them and not me!
**There is a road that they walked up. They didn't just go climb the hillside but it is still a pretty long steady climb UP.**
Well that stitchery is calling my name so I think I'll get off here and get busy on it.
Care to take a guess as to who I'm making it for?
I'll give you a hint!
It's a blogging buddy. ;o)
Stay warm!

That is some lovely stitching, and I LOVE the new snowy template!!! very strange to see folks in camo marching in such small groups, you don't have an Army base around do you? I hope Gage enjoyed his birthday, and you need some of OUR snow, LOL, we have over a foot:O
Cold weekend here, too, but gratefully just some flurries last night. The stitching and your blog look great.
Love the new background. It does look cold there. We're suppose to get snow / ice tonight and tomorrow.
We're getting snow as I type this! About 3 inches!
