I'm Still Kickin' and SPRING is almost here!
I'm still alive!
I just haven't spent much time on the computer this week.
I've had headaches (sinus) most of the week which have pretty much kept me off the computer.
You know, the kind of headaches that make you want to do nothing but sleep!
I've been miserable and everytime I've tried to get on the computer the headaches seem to get worse.
I even tried to sew a bit and couldn't do it.
So needless to say it's been a pretty boring week.
Yesterday the headaches seemed to ease up a bit and none at all today so here I sit at the computer screen....YAY!
Now I've just got lots of stuff to catch up on.
The weather has been so nice here. We've still had some cloudy and cool days but the sun has been out in between and it is so nice. The grass is even beginning to turn green again and I found the first daffodil poking through the ground the other day.
Sure signs that SPRING is almost here.
I got a call from the pool place today to make arrangements for the delivery of our new pool. With all the rain that we've had I was beginning to think that the pool would never get put in the ground but maybe all this sun will dry up the mud.
We also spent much of the afternoon today out looking for a new vehicle. Well, not a new vehicle (used) but one that is new to us. I don't enjoy the process of searching for a new vehicle. It's down-right depressing!
I don't want something all decked out and high priced but I also don't want something that's too old or with high mileage.
I'm not being too picky am I?
No answer needed for that question!
My husband has already answered it.
We have found a few trucks that would have been perfect ( price, mileage, looks etc.) but they were sold before we got to them. It seems everyone is looking for the same thing we are. We'll find something sooner or later...just got to keep looking.
Well I could use some extra ZZZ's so I think I'm off to bed now. I've got lots that I want to get accomplished tomorrow.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Glad you're feeling better. Love the cute spring look of your blog.
I hope you feel better Jessica! I've been sick for over a month now. I'm on my second round of antibiotics. I'm feeling so much better today but I'm not really into blogging either.
Congratulations on your new pool! I'd like to put one in but we have springs all over where we live. The old farm house we tore down had a big spring in the cellar. All that water would make the pool pop right out of the ground is what they told me. Sigh....
I might be looking for a new truck soon too! Mine has 140,000 miles on it and the engine light has been on for a long time. Mine has to be inspected by the end of the month. It all depends on how much it cost to fix it up again this year! lol I'm afraid that I do like the bells and whistles but I don't want to pay the price for it! Why in the world is the price of trucks that high?
Sorry you have been feeling bad. Rest and take care of yourself.
I bet the kids are excited about the pool; they'll have a great time this summer. Glad you're feeling better. I love the new look of your blog it's so sweet and cheerful. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Hugs!!!
So glad you are feeling better! LOVE the new Spring look of your blog!
Glad you got rid of those nasty headaches( I take it you didn't go to Sugarcreek:( I too hate the process of vehicle shopping, when my hubby got his last truck I let him go alone so i didn't have to be apart of it, LOL! How exciting for you that the pool is coming soon, are they installing it for you?? When we got ours several years ago we had the bright idea of saving some money and installing it ourselves, HA, never again, not so much the putting together of it that was too bad but trying to level the ground, UGH, Chris was out there with his Kabota for like 3 weeks!!!
hugs my friend, I know the feeling, I have been off lately too, hope you are feeling better now, God bless you my friend.
Thats because all the good vehicles
go off the lot as soon as they come in. Sales people get on the
phone and start calling people
they know are looking for one.
Leave your number with some
used vehicle salesmen with what
you want.
We have always bought brand new.
cars.

You are right Pamela and that is what we did. We left our name and number with an idea of what we were looking for at numerous car dealers. Now we keep looking and hopefully something will turn up somewhere.
Oh my! I know about sinus headaches. So sorry you've been having them!
Last year Hubby and I had to do shopping for a new vehicle and yes, we were both picky. Our main concern was that the seats were comfortable for our old backs. We were fortunate to have a friend recommend a good dealer to us and felt he gave us a fair deal. I've always felt the same as you about car shopping...I'd rather not do it. :)
I hope your head is feeling better! It's been pretty warm here, we have the A/C on right now. I hope y'all will be able to find a truck that works for y'all!
