Molly's Boot Bash & My January Block

Molly's Place is sharing a new Block of the Month this year.
                    2011 Boot Bash

What better symbol of country life could there be than an old well worn (yet comfy) pair of cowboy boots?

I love to decorate in country/western so when I saw this pattern I knew I'd be making it.

I chose some turquoise and brown prints for my January block and stitched them sitting on top of a little patch of "wool" snow.

Now I can't wait to get started on the February block.

If you'd like to join in on the BOOT BASH then stop by MOLLY'S PLACE and look on her right sidebar for the pattern link.
She also has a Flickr Group where you can post your finished block as well as see what others have created.

Jessica--Your boot is crazy cute! I love to see others interpretations of my designs! I hope you will upload to my Flickr group. Can I update my post with pic of your boot? Let me know. I am sorry I didn't respond to your comment. The comments won't come to my inbox. Well, some do and some don't. Yours didn't. Thanks!

I just started the Boot Bash BOM yesterday...before I saw yours. I used paisley for the boot top as well! Great minds, huh.
