Back in the 70's

me, my Grandmother (Mee-Mee) & my brother
In the past few months my kids have asked me several questions about my childhood so while I had some extra time yesterday I went over to Mom & Dad's to dig through some old photos. While I was digging I ran into an old bag that contained an assortment of newspaper clippings and recipes.
They were from the 70's!
And so were these styles!
                                  my brother and me
Don't you wish they still made pants and jackets like that?

I did find a few old recipes that I'd like to try and alot of funny photos of me and my brother as we were growing
up.
                             Lots of great memories!

Hope you all are staying warm. No snow here yet but it's on it's way. Only calling for an inch so no biggie.
Stay warm and have a great weekend!

We did that over Christmas with our kids - digging out old photos and having some good laughs too... especially over the clothing styles and hairdo's.

lookin pretty snazzy in the "woodie" hats! :) love it! ill have to dig some of my old photos out for fun. Like your mom, my mom has most of them still in her possession, and refuses to part with any of them, so we have to sneak them from her when she isnt around. Of course, her being in California, makes it tough for me to do the hunting, so ill have to bug my sisters :)
