Chocolate Chip Fudge Frosting

I have used this simple frosting recipe for years. It's so quick and easy to make when you are in a pinch for time.
Just make sure you have an extra bag of chocolate chips stored away for it.
In our household, chocolate chips are something that have to be hidden. When there is  nothing sweet left in the house then hubby and the kids all go to the freezer, which is where I store my chocolate chips, in search of the last remaining morsels of sweetness left.

Chocolate Chip Fudge Frosting

1/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 cup chocolate chips

In a medium saucepan, bring the butter, sugar & milk to a slow boil.
Add chocolate chips and stir until melted.
Pour over cakes, brownies and any other dessert that you may need a quick icing for.

Now I know that I'm not the only one that has to hide the chocolate chips! If I don't have something fixed my kids will go looking for that bag of chips! I've never heard of icing made with chips. It HAS to be good though!
