Candy Apple Delight

Here's a quick dessert salad to toss together. It's a perfect cool treat for these warm summer days.

Candy Apple Delight

8oz. Cool Whip
16oz. crushed pineapple, drained
3 Granny Smith apples
3 Snickers candy bars
1/2 cup peanuts

Combine Cool-Whip and drained pineapple in a bowl.
Peel, core and slice the apples, then cut the slices into quarters. (bite size pieces)
Cut the Snickers into small cubes.
Chop the peanuts.
Stir apples, candy and peanuts into the Cool-Whip mixture.
Refrigerate & Enjoy!

This photo isn't that great but trust me the dessert IS!

We've had a break this week from all the hot and humid weather. It's stayed in the 70's and been beautiful so I've spent most of my time outdoors and away from my computer, hence the reason for my lack of posting. It's been a bit cool for the pool but we've stayed out late each night while the kids catch fireflies and play with their friends. By the time I get in, showered and ready for bed I'm just too tired to stay on the computer for very long. So if I haven't been by your place to say HI recently you know why.
I'm enjoying every minute of the summertime!

I'd be enjoying the nice weather too Jessica! We've been hitting the triple digits for the last few weeks here in FL. That dessert sounds yummy.

That looks and sounds SO yummy! I can see me having a problem though with keeping the snicker bars around long enough to make it, LOL!!!!! Glad your enjoying the summer and yes, the break from the heat was lovely:)
