A Stitchin' Kind of Weekend

This is gonna be a great weekend. Last night a cold front rolled through here bringing much cooler  (70's) and less humid weather. I've actually got the A/C turned off and the windows open and I've traded my tank tops in for t-shirts.
Absolutely perfect weather...in my opinion!

Now the house is cleaned, the laundry is done so what is left for me to do over the weekend?

Not a darn thing other than sitting around stitching on this cute sampler.
Oh, and I can't forget sitting around a fire in the backyard during the evening hours making smores with the kids. :0)

Now back to the stitching part~

I purchased a few new patterns today from CHESTNUT JUNCTION. The one in the picture that I'm working on is called "Folky Favorites". I traced it onto a cream colored piece of wool and got started on it immediately. I hope to get a bunch of it done this weekend...maybe even finish it!
By the way, if you are in need or "want" of a few new stitchery patterns then hurry on over to Chestnut Junction. She's having a sale on all of her stitchery patterns until the end of June. (99 cents each)

Well, I'm off to stitch a bit.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
