Working in the Mud

It's been about a week and a half since my Dad had the old sidewalk in front of his house removed. It's been so rainy though that today was the first day that we've been able to get out ang get the new sidewalk ready to pour.
While the boys were in school I helped Dad frame the new sidewalk in. Then after school & dinner the boys got to take their turn in the mud.
I didn't hear any complaining though!
They were too happy to have a sledgehammer in hand and the permission to use it.

There's just nothin' better than a man and his helpers!!! Life just doesn't get any better than havin' permission to tear somethin' up...with a sledgehammer even! Woohoo!!!

God bless ya sweetie and have an incredible day!!! :o)

The boys must have had tons of fun with that hammer! I can see them now trying to lift it!

Boys love that kind of stuff! Hope they get to put their hand prints in the cement when it gets poured!

It sounds like it has been a bit chilly there - hopefully it has warmed up! We have been having very warm weather for this time of year - I love that pillow! Happy weekend!

Looks like the boys are having fun and doing a great job!
Sidewalk will be nice once it is finished.
